The 2nd edition of the Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival will take place from September 13th to 14th, 2024, showcasing a blend of local and international talent. The event will feature artists from the Tooro Kingdom and special guest performers from across Uganda and beyond.
Confirmed acts include the legendary female group BLU 3, and top talents from the Tooro Kingdom such as Titan, Irene Hinda, Rosette, Ayesiga, Draei Bitsc, Holy Trimmy, Sagio Mhza, and Home of Talent.
In addition to the performers from Kampala, the festival will spotlight rising stars like Tai Tan Ug, providing them with a platform to collaborate with renowned artists.
“This will give fresh talent from this region a free opportunity to get their music recorded, mastered, and produced by industry professionals,” revealed Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa.
In partnership with UNDP, the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife & Antiquities, and TAG Studios, the Tooro Kingdom will support its artists by setting up a three-day mobile studio during the festival.
The Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival aims to entertain, educate, inspire, and showcase the Tooro region as Africa’s leading tourism destination.
