The Jameson Hangout, a quarterly festival organized by Talent Africa Group, took over the Ndeere Cultural Center in Ntinda on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, with a dazzling blend of live music, interactive games, trendy pop-up shops, and more.
This edition was headlined by Ugandan music stars Irene Ntale and Beenie Gunter, alongside the Nigerian group Alternate Sound. Gates opened at 4 PM, with DJ Tony warming up the crowd with an energetic set, followed by Shawn Mane, Denesi, Professor Joewi, and The Black Wave Sounds.
Irene Ntale took the stage at 10 PM, performing her hits like “Ssembera” and “Stay with Me,” which had the audience singing along. The excitement surged further with performances from Naselow Da Don and Beenie Gunter, elevating the vibe to a whole new level.
The night wrapped up with a show-stopping performance by Alternate Sound, leaving attendees eagerly awaiting the next edition.
The festival offered a variety of engaging activities, from complimentary Jameson cocktails and discounted tattoos to free haircuts and mouth-watering barbecue.
