On 8th October 2024, Ugandan comedy duo Madrat and Chiko will be live in a concert as they celebrate 10 years of doing comedy in Uganda.
The duo is holding a show dubbed ” Nsekobuseko Comedy,” which is now in season five, at the Sheraton Gardens Hotel in Kampala.
After having a successful show last year, the comedians are back to celebrate their achievements in the Ugandan comedy industry.
During a press conference at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Chiko shared insights about their preparations for the upcoming show, noting, “While we’re busy prepping, our creativity keeps us on our toes. Our best ideas often come to us on stage. What has kept us going for the last 10 years is our process of writing down jokes and letting new ones emerge during performances.”
The comedy duo also went ahead and promised to give attendees a show like never before, for it is a 10-year journey that they are celebrating.
Madrat and Chiko expressed their gratitude to their fans and supporters: “We are incredibly thankful for the love and support we’ve received over the past decade.
This show is not just a celebration of our work but of everyone who has been part of our journey. We can’t wait to share this special night with all of you!”
