Fans of singer Grenade Official, real name Deus Ndugwa, will have to wait longer for his “Ndi Yadeko” concert.
The event, which was scheduled to take place on 15th January 2025 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, was cancelled just five days before the planned date.
On 10th February 2025, the organizers released an official statement explaining the decision.
They confirmed that the concert had been rescheduled and that new dates would be announced later.
According to the statement, the decision was made after consultations with key stakeholders, including investors, promoters, and Grenade Official’s management team.
The organizers explained that they wanted to align the concert with the singer’s availability, improve event planning, and ensure that fans received a world-class experience.
Fans, sponsors, and partners were thanked for their understanding and support during this transition.
The organizers also promised to share more updates on ticket information and other details in the coming days.
The decision to cancel the concert came not long after Grenade Official openly criticized his peers for failing to support his show.
He stated that artistes had not stood with him ahead of his concert, despite the fact that he had supported many of them in the past.
For now, fans will have to wait for the new date, hoping that when it finally happens, it will be worth the wait.
