The excitement for the forthcoming Eastside tour concert, slated for April 5, is boiling up to the maximum, as Kampala revellers get closer to the D-date.
Organised by Talent Africa Group, Mavin Records, Africa Centric Entertainment, and Hustle Sasa, the concert will happen at the Ndere Cultural Centre, Ntinda, Kampala.
A few days after the announcement of Nigerian superstars – Bayanni, Magixx, and Boy Spyce, as the main headliners of the concert, a lineup of local acts featuring Vinka, Ava Peace, Denesi, and urban music’s new poster child – Joshua Baraka, has been officially released.
With Vinka’s stage energy and presence, it goes without saying that, sharing a stage with such revered stars will only get the crowd thrilled beyond their expectations. Coupled with Ava Peace, the two songbirds have recently had their fans in a chokehold.
Baraka’s recent rocket-speed rise to the international stage is one to watch out for, and speaking about stages, the Eastside tour will be a good one for him to show Ugandans why he is worth the reverence.
To confirm their presence, Bayanni, Magixx, Boy Spyce recently released videos urging their fans to book their tickets in time and get ready for an evening of electrifying performances.
To spyce the entertainment, Sheila Salta will be the MC, giving off her energy on the Mic, backed up by DJ Tony for everything Afrobeats.
For the early birds, tickets will run for sh40,000 for the Lit zone (discounted from sh50,000). For a deck of 4 people, tickets will for sh1.5 million, while for a deck of 8 people, revellers will part with sh3 million.
