The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear 14 civil appeals and applications today, June 24, 2024.
According to the Court’s Registrar, Harriet Ssali Nalukwago, the pre-hearing conference shall be presided over by Hon. Lady Justice Dr Catherine Bamugemereire.
The objective of the conference is to fix hearing dates for the cause-listed civil appeals and civil applications, and to determine the format for presentation of arguments and timeframes for filing written submissions.
Ssali added that the court has scheduled several hearings in the course of the week.
“On June 25 (tomorrow), the court will start a two-day constitutional session.”
On Wednesday, June 26, Justice Christopher Madrama will preside over a criminal pre-hearing conference.
On Friday, June 28, Justice Elizabeth Musoke will also hold a criminal pre-hearing session.
