“I Don’t Regret Having One Hit Because I Was Never Serious About Singing” Mckenzie

“I don’t regret having just one hit because I have never been serious about singing. I was just doing things, and thank God I had the right collaborations. It’s never truly been a passion of mine to be a singer; my focus has always been behind the scenes, making things happen, ” says Mckenzie, Media Personality

Mckenzie said this while appearing on the NTV Beat on 8th January adding that if someone wants to be a musician in Uganda, the journey is very challenging without financial support. A lot of Ugandan parents don’t see it as a career, and your friends may view it as a long shot. Additionally, the musicians we do have in the country often hit a ceiling and don’t progress beyond that point

“There are so many artists I’ve worked with who don’t directly deal with hip-hop. I’m a music fanatic. BeBe Cool performed at my wedding, and it was more of a friendship thing. I believe he wants to go beyond what he has already achieved. He wants to break through barriers, added Bryan McKenzie.

According to Mckenzie he also adds saying that one of the big aspects of hip-hop is that it requires quality. If you don’t have quality videos and production, much of it will be overlooked. I see good artists on TikTok with great content, but TV platforms will require you to have high-quality production
