Kiryandongo’s Victoria Nyakalebeki Crowned Miss Tourism Bunyoro 2024/25

In a stunning display of grace, elegance, and talent, Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki was crowned Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region 2024/25 at the esteemed Kabalega Resort in Masindi on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The event was a landmark occasion for the 22-year-old Makerere University student, who made history as the first winner from Kiryandongo District.

The celebration featured an impressive gathering of esteemed guests, including Eng. Asiimwe Jonard as the guest of honor, alongside Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom dignitaries, officials from Miss Tourism Uganda-PA, and representatives from Link Bus Services Ltd, who generously offered complimentary transportation for a year to the top three winners.

The night’s program, which ran from 8:00 pm to 11:45 pm, highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Bunyoro. Local artists performed, adding to the vibrant atmosphere, while the audience was enthralled by the glamorous ceremony. Victoria’s win was met with enthusiastic applause and cheers, reflecting her intelligence, beauty, and dedication to promoting tourism in Bunyoro.

Joining Victoria on the podium were Mbabazi Immaculate as the 1st runner-up and Ayesiga Daphine as the 2nd runner-up. As the newly crowned titleholders, these three young women will act as ambassadors for tourism growth, environmental conservation, and regional development. Their achievements underscore their commitment and hard work, positioning them to positively influence their community and beyond.

Victoria’s groundbreaking victory marks a new chapter for the Miss Tourism Bunyoro Region pageant, dedicated to fostering tourism and development in the area. As the inaugural titleholder from Kiryandongo District, Victoria aims to leave a lasting legacy and inspire others to pursue their dreams.

Heartfelt congratulations to the new Miss Tourism Bunyoro 2024/25, Ndamurani Victoria Abwooli Nyakalebeki, and to Mbabazi Immaculate and Ayesiga Daphine, the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively. These three exceptional women will advance to the national stage, representing the Bunyoro region at the Miss Tourism Uganda grand finale, scheduled for September 14 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
