Landlord Seeks Ugx 300M To Leave Land To Mowzey Radio’s Family

February is the month Ugandans celebrate the achievements and the legacy of the late singer and songwriter Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio

The singer was announced dead on 1st February 2018 at Case Hospital in Kampala after he was hit by a bouncer during at a bar brawl in Entebbe Town

He was buried at his country home in Nakawuka Kagga in Wakiso Municipality where his mother and his family live.

Recently, Moze Radio’s family revealed that there was a land dispute near the late singer’s grave as the landlord next to it plans to take part of the land where Mowzey was buried

If he does so according to his plan, there will be no access route to his grave and this has left the family wondering what to do next

Reportedly, the landlord is asking for Ugx 300M to leave the land to Mowzey Radio’s family but they don’t have the money to pay him.

In a Television interview about the matter, former Good Lyfe producer and associate producer Bushingtone said the only way that dispute will be solved is to relocate the remains of Mowzey radio to another area next to his mother’s house

“ I think the landlord is trying to use this situation to make a lot of money from such a small piece of land. The only option the family has is to rebury him in another area on the same plot of land,” he said

Last year, Radio’s mother Kasuubo Jane tried to raise the matter with the stakeholders of the entertainment industry but never got any help
