Lionel Richie To Perform At Climate Change Concert In Uganda

Lionel Brockman Richie Jr, better known as Lionel Richie, will likely perform in Gulu, Uganda at the climate change concert in June.

The update about the 75-year-old American singer/songwriter and producer’s coming to Uganda was announced by the State Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Norbert Mao.

Hon. Norbert Mao revealed that the concert will be majorly focused on educating Ugandans and the whole world at large the dangers in destroying and damaging the climate and nature of the earth.

He explained that destroying the climate has brought about a change in the weather.

American singer Lionel Richie will likely come to Gulu, Uganda, and perform in June. Artists including Sister Slide and many others have been invited to turn up.

These visitors were invited to come and teach Ugandans about the danger they have plunged themselves into destroying nature.

He believes this will be achieved by artists passing on the information through their songs and will also help businessmen to expand their market for there goods.

The platform will also open doors for creatives and artists to land opportunities on how effectively they can benefit from their talents.

The event also aims at attracting tourists to visit Uganda which adds much value and impact on the revenue of the country.

The climate change concert is expected to attract a huge turnout of close to 250k revelers.
