“I am interested in cash, not flowers. I am interested in money because I can buy something tangible with it instead of useless flowers. I can buy cement and know it will contribute to the construction of a house, but flowers—what use are they?” she explained in an interview with a local television station.
With just a week to celebrate Valentine’s Day on 14th February, many girls and women both young and old are gearing up for that since most of them are waiting for the men and boyfriends to gift them flowers among other things.
But that seems to be a different case with the singer Carol Nantongo who says that money should be the first thing on the list of Valentine’s Day gifts. She also added that there is nothing good with flowers.
“With money, you can buy yourself tangible and valuable things rather than flowers,” said Nantongo.
