Uganda Cranes star Elio Capradossi has joined an Italian Serie B side AC Cittadella, ending months without a club.
the defender aged 28-year-old’s has not been so much active with professional football and this has affected his chances of being summoned for Uganda’s recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Elio has now returned to club football and this has brought some good smiles to supporters and fans who have been admiring his style of play at both the national team and club level.
The move to AC Cittadella gives him a new start to his career and also to be called on to the National team.
Born on March 11, 1996, in Kampala, Uganda, Capradossi’s heritage is as diverse as his football journey. His father, Corrado Capradossi, is Italian, while his mother hails from the Democratic Republic of Congo. This background made him eligible to represent three nations—Italy, Uganda, and DR Congo—before ultimately choosing to play for the Uganda Cranes.
